Maintenance and Operation

Process
Designing, permitting, constructing, and commissioning a corporate solar and energy storage system is a complex challenge. The process requires examining and executing several important steps.
By overseeing the project from start to finish, unnecessary time loss and costs can be avoided. We support the entire process through our project management services and, if needed, also assist with grant applications.
Site Survey & Assessment
During a site assessment, we examine local conditions, the premises, and the building’s characteristics. We analyze electricity usage patterns based on 15-minute consumption data (a one-year T-curve), review energy supply contracts, and consider planned future demand. Based on the proposed system size, we determine how much of the future generated electricity will be used and how much would be lost/curtailed.
In this phase, we also size an optional energy storage system to optimize losses. After sizing, we thoroughly inspect the installation site to determine the optimal layout, verify that there is sufficient space for installation, assess orientation, and plan the connection to the electrical grid.
Offer & Proposal
Based on the size and location of the solar system, we determine the materials required for installation, such as inverters, solar panels, electrical distribution cabinets, mounting structures, cabling, planned routes, and auxiliary components. With these, we prepare our proposal for the planned system, which is also grant-compatible.
We perform return-on-investment calculations using projected electricity generation, consumption patterns, investment costs, and electricity procurement costs. This clearly shows how long it will take for the solar and energy storage system to pay off.
Design
We prepare all relevant plans for the solar system (electrical and, if required, construction plans) based on the system size, as well as the necessary specialized plans (lightning protection, fire safety, etc.). We take care of obtaining the required permits (utility company approvals, and if applicable, consolidated power plant permits from MEKH). Procurement of products is scheduled according to the agreed deadlines. We primarily work with premium Tier 1 materials and maintain direct relationships with manufacturers and distributors.
We carry liability insurance for construction works and provide a 5-year warranty, provided that we carry out the annual preventive maintenance. Inverters come with a standard 5-year warranty, extendable to 10 years or more. For energy storage systems, the warranty is 10 years. For solar panels, we offer a 15-year product warranty and a 25-year performance warranty.
Implementation
After obtaining the necessary permits, we begin the on-site installation of the corporate solar and/or energy storage system according to the project schedule. We start with mechanical assembly, installing the mounting structures, followed by securing the solar panels. Next comes the electrical installation — DC wiring, inverters, AC cabinets, and communication systems. After installation, the system is connected to the local grid and, in coordination with the DSO, to the public grid.
For AC-coupled outdoor energy storage systems, installation begins with foundation work, followed by delivery and placement of the storage unit. Typically, installation is completed within 1–2 days. Thanks to our project management, you always have up-to-date information about the project status and can consult with your dedicated project manager at any time.
